Global maritime service provider Inchcape Shipping Services committed to further investment in southern Africa when COO Michael van Hemert addressed clients in Johannesburg last week.
“Within Inchcape we view Africa and South Africa in particular as one of the most attractive places to invest - and clearly we are not alone in this with over $100 billion of foreign investment expected into the continent in 2015,” he said.
“Our investments in Africa include opening up in Mozambique with offices in Maputo, Beira and Nacala. We are also expanding our presence in Somalia as well as actively looking to expand in Angola, Benin and Togo.”
